Charitable status for CPP |
Clapham Park Project became a charity on Wednesday 24th March 2010. Achieving charitable status is integral to Clapham Park Project’s sustainability strategy and means that the organisation will be able to apply for funding to continue running projects and activities after the New Deal for Communities finishes in March 2011. The new charity will be launched at the Clapham Park Festival on 10th July 2010. See the next issue of E-Life for more information.

Future Jobs Fund Trainees |
In February Clapham Park Project welcomed 7 Future Jobs Fund trainees to work within the Marketing and Communications, Finance, Employment and Training, Fundraising, Youth, Community Development and Community Safety teams.
The trainees have taken up the opportunity of a six month paid placement to gain more experience in their chosen field, and to learn what it is like to work in a formal office environment.
The Future Jobs Fund has given young adults (some of whom finished college or university during the credit crunch) the chance to gain the relevant skills and experience to succeed at work and CPP is proud to be part of this project.
