On Tuesday 2nd December, the Community Development staff and volunteers celebrated community involvement in local networks at invite-only event, the Winter Celebration at the Richard Atkins School.

The CPP Chair, Donna C Henry thanked everyone for the past year’s successes and Cllr Steve Reed also spoke to the collected group. Cllr Reed said that, in his opinion, the Clapham Park NDC is one of the best regeneration schemes in the country and he thanked everyone involved.

There was a buffet laid on for the guests, and Generation Radio kicked off the evening with hits and requests.  Invited guests included members of the Over 50’s Social Club, also the volunteers who run the weekly shopping trip and others involved in the Community Development team’s project work.

Attendees included local councillors Diana Morris, Lib Peck, Michael Hipwell and Leader of the Council Steve Reed (as mentioned previously) also the Rt. Hon. Keith Hill MP (pictured below, with CPP Chair Donna C Henry).
