On Monday 26th October, Lambeth Council’s Cabinet formally approved the Clapham Park Project’s Succession Strategy. Three representatives from the CPP attended the Cabinet meeting: The Chair of the Board, CPP Chief Executive and the Business Development Manager and all three were overwhelmed by the great positivity and feedback they received about the CPP’s work to date.
The Cabinet wished the CPP every success in the future and the CPP was delighted to note the same level of praise and support from the opposition party at the meeting, a positive sign all round for the CPP’s future endeavours.

The approval is the first hurdle in achieving the succession strategy - it now enables the CPP to submit to the Department of Communities and Local Government for consideration. Based on the CPP’s experience in round one, this next step could take up to six months and may well be challenging and time-consuming, but the CPP remain optimistic and we will keep all staff updated on progress.
