Residents took to the street to enjoy the last of the summer weather at the Lyham Road Street Party.

The family friendly celebration took place on Saturday 4^th September from 2pm – 8pm at the top half of Lyham Road and Saxby Road and had a healthy turn out (despite the date change).

The bouncy castle proved popular for the children whilst other attendees enjoyed music, food, games, and workshops.

Paula  Mahel said, ‘It was amazing. The people, the food, the environment, everything went really well and the local residents made me feel so welcome. I’d love there to be other street parties in the area like this one as I had so much fun.’
