We think it's important for everyone to be healthy because when we're healthy we're usually happier and more able to do the things we want to do. We see people's health in three different ways:

  • Physical - feeling fit and not having any illnesses
  • Mental - feeling well in your mind and not stressed
  • Social - having the same chance as everyone else to benefit from health services

Clapham Park Project works with health and social care providers to give residents information and advice about how to be healthy and how to lead a healthier lifestyle.

We've run lots of activities in the area to give people:

  • Advice on nutrition
  • Healthy cookery sessions
  • A range of health checks (blood pressure, lung age etc)
  • Weight management advice and exercise classes
  • Stop smoking advice, support and treatment
  • Help to improve their mental well-being
