QUALITY OF LIFE AND AREA


  • 82% of residents say they have a good quality of life in 2006, compared to 79% in 2004.
  • Compared to 2004 the same numbers of residents feel part of the community (44%).
  • Compared to 2004, less residents think that dogs causing nuisance or mess is a problem in the area (from 38% to 33% in 2006); and fewer residents think that it is causing a serious problem than in 2004.
  • Compared to 2004, fewer residents think that litter and rubbish in the streets is a problem in the areas in 2006 (from 58% to 52%). CPP is now well below the NDC aggregate figure (61%).
  • Compared to 2004, less residents think that vandalism, graffiti or other deliberate damage to property is a problem in the area in 2006 (from 55% to 48%).
